Alessia Mangoni Speech-Language Pathology Services

Alessia obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from York University and her Master of Arts in Communication Disorders and Sciences (Speech Language Pathology) at the University at Buffalo.   Alessia is a clinician who is passionate about working with children and incorporating child- led therapy, play based therapy and neurodiversity affirming care. She strives to make her sessions engaging and motivating for every client she works with. She has a wide range of experience working with children in the areas of articulation, receptive and expressive language, literacy, fluency and social communication. She has a passion for working with neurodivergent children and gestalt language processors.   Alessia is a lifelong learner and continues to develop her skills and knowledge through continuing education. Her additional professional development training includes Meaningful Speech Course ( for the evaluation and treatment of Gestalt Language Processors), Ascend Reading and Writing Program, PROMPT trained, the Ultimate play based Speech Course and currently completing her Inside out Sensory Certification.
